AFP Skydiving Training
Our skydiving training takes you from simply checking off your bucket list to becoming a true free spirited adventurer. By getting your skydiving license, you will be able to jump with other people, build formations in the sky, practice different disciplines, pilot your canopy like a pro, travel the world and skydive at different drop zones, and become a member of a unique community of amazing people.
Our AFP program is one of the most advanced training methods available, designed to give you a quick and safe start in the world of skydiving. Taught by some of the most experienced instructors in the country, using state of the art gear and aircraft, this program will comprehensively cover everything you need to become a safe member of our sport.
What is the AFP program?
The Accelerated Freefall Progression (AFP) program consists of 8 levels (called "A" through "H"). Each level usually consists of 2 jumps. The number of jumps needed to complete the program depends on individual performance and frequency of jumps. Levels A through E will teach you the basics, transitioning from your tandem jumps to one on one training, where you and your instructor are each wearing your own parachutes. You will progress to solo maneuvers and acrobatics under instructor supervision, after which you will be qualified to jump completely by yourself. After completing Level E, you can make solo skydives and receive coaching about jumping safely with a group. After a minimum of 25 total jumps, you can apply for a USPA A license. The A license allows you to jump with other licensed skydivers anywhere in the US (with certain restrictions).
How long does it take to get your skydiving license?
Our suggested progression would cover your 25 skydives in about 9 days. You can take it completely at your own pace - our instructors are available every day. The USPA requires that you make at least one jump every 30 days to stay current. The less time between the jumps, the better your learning curve will be!
